Prompt: March Twenty-Sixth - Siffrin & Bonnie at the beach
"- And I play here all the time!" Bonnie says, their lightless eyes looking up at Siffrin.
"... Must be nice." Siffrin says, looking across the coast.
The party had gotten to Bambouche, where they got to see Bonnie hug their sister, and now Bonnie was showing Siffrin around the place- starting with this beach.
Dimly, Siffrin remembers lightless sands. Running around, kicking up the night sky beneath his feet.
... Are those memories even real, or born from the King's final words- from the sentences he had uttered as memories trickled back into him?
Across the coast is Siffrin's home island. The place nobody can remember. The place not even he can remember.
... The place that doesn't even get a name.
"Frin?" Bonnie asks. "Are you alright?"
Siffrin wipes a tear from his eye. "... Just a little starstruck, that's all." He breathes in. "... What else do you do here, Bonbon?"
"Oh! Here- follow me!" Bonnie runs off, and Siffrin chases after them, ready to see what they have in store for him.
