Evan Lorne was in hell.

He'd been at the SGC for a few off-world trips but was given a few weeks of light duty at the Air Force Academy just outside of Colorado Springs mixed with R&R. It was Spring, and the campus was busy, filled with cadets in dress uniforms and fresh-faced high school seniors checking out colleges. And while he no longer had to worry about DADT, because he was so baby-faced, he had to worry about anyone who tried to chat him up. He learned that the hard way when he'd first started at the SGC when a fit, muscular guy with biceps as big as thick as Evan's thighs and a full beard chatted him up - and was interrupted by a phone call which he answered, "Yeah, dad?"

When he'd hung up, Evan asked, "Dad?"

The guy had blushed. "Umm, yeah? I'm 16?"

Ever since then, Evan's policy had been to pick up the occasional trick off campus.

That's what he'd done today after giving a lecture to some of the would-be recruits. He'd smiled, shaken hands, and immediately drove as far away from campus and the SGC until he could breathe again. Because between off-world trips and his crazy schedule, just the whiff of testosterone dripping off the cadets kept him half-hard.

Colorado Springs was a quaint little town, and Evan was going to miss it when he transferred to Atlantis. Sure, it was a conservative area, but that didn't mean that it lacked any of the amenities of a great spot to find food, friendship, or a good book. So after he'd grabbed lunch and wandered through a couple of galleries, Evan spotted the local library. He'd been meaning to pick something up to read to pass what little time he had left on Earth, and now was as good a time as any.

As he wandered the shelves, he had a distinct feeling that he was being watched. He'd developed a keener sense of the feeling on his first off-world trip and had only honed it over time. The side effect was it helped him pick up cute men.

And speaking of cute men, Evan spotted one as he walked out of the stacks. He took the two books he'd grabbed and sat down at a table opposite the redhead. Whoever this guy was, he was not only fit but muscular with bright eyes. Eyes brighter than expected and in the most unique shade of amber. Evan took his seat and nodded, a small smile on his face.

He didn't receive a smile back but rather a nod. The man went back to the notebook he was hurriedly making notes in and, after scribbling a few more lines, remade eye contact.

Even though Evan wasn't used to picking up men in odd places - like a library - it was a classic move. Or at least it seemed to be. So Evan picked up his two books, tapped twice on the table, and then started making his way toward the stranger's table as the redhead started putting his things in his ratty backpack. Evan passed him, never losing eye contact with those beautiful amber eyes, and then walked to the circulation desk, where he checked out his books. He spotted the man walking out of the library, and when he was done with the librarian, he walked out into the warm afternoon sun and found the stranger leaning against the bus stop shelter, eyes glued to him with a smile on his face.

Evan walked up to him, even though in the sunshine, the stranger looked a few years younger than in the harsh fluorescent lighting of the library. He slowed as he approached, the hint of a smile on his face.

"You heading somewhere?" Evan asked.

The small smile dropped as the guy looked at the bus stop, then back at Evan. "Maybe," he said, his voice a bit deeper than Evan expected. "You got a place around here?"

Evan twirled his car keys on his finger and nodded. Five minutes (and one age check, accompanied by, "Dude, I'm 18. If I show you my license, will you let me suck your dick?") later, Evan was having his dress uniform carefully ripped from his body as his fingers gripped the thickest ass he'd ever set hands on.

*~*~*~*

Five hours, one nap, and two rounds later, Evan was sated. If he didn't have sex again until he went to Atlantis, he'd be just fine. Especially round two after Will, his trick's name, had talked Evan into bottoming. Evan didn't normally bottom, but after a 30-minute rim job, he'd practically begged for Will's cock.

Will walked out of the bathroom, a warm washcloth in his hands. As he wiped the come from Evan's stomach, careful not to get any on the sheets, Evan looked up at him. "So why are you in town, Will?"

"College," Will said, his Mainer accent coming in thick and lazy. "I play hockey, and a few NCAA have offered me scholarships, including the Academy." He leaned toward the bathroom, giving Evan another great view of Will's ass before he turned back around. "They're not a D-2 school, but my dad was in the Air Force."

Evan looked at him curiously, then pulled him back down on the bed. "So you're more interested in hockey than flying?"

"Ayuh," Will said, snuggling up against Evan's naked body. "I mean, I could learn. That's fine." He shook his head. "But it'd never be my passion." Will put an arm under Evan's neck, pulling Evan close enough so they touched chest to knees. "Hockey and then maybe computers. Something that'll help support my family."

Evan let himself be held, feeling the rise and fall of Will's muscular chest. He thought about it, how he was grateful for the Academy for teaching him to slip the bounds of Earth and dance among the stars."

He sat up. "Don't do it," he said, staring into Will's amber eyes.

"What?"

"Don't get me wrong," Evan said, "you seem pretty cool, and the Academy is amazing. But if you're considering coming here because of hockey, I think you'd end up being miserable."

Evan considered him a second, leaning into the light touch of Will's fingers as they dragged up and down his back. Evan leaned up and kissed Will. "Besides," Evan said, "you said your family's pretty important to you. It'll be hard to see them when you're this far away."

"Ayuh," Will said again, Evan smiling at his accent. "Well, there was this other school I was considering. It's called Samwell, and it's just a few hour's drive from home in Massachusetts."

Evan smiled. "Cool. Tell me about it?"

Will matched Evan's smile and, in a quick move, flipped Evan onto his back. He pinned Evan down while pulling Evan's legs to his shoulders. "Maybe after the next round," he said, then leaned in for a kiss.
