Title: The David Never Yet Seen By Friend
Fandoms: David Blaize & England World
Pairing/Characters - Prompt: David Blaize/Frank Maddox
Rating: Teen
Prompt: David has no idea what they look like to Frank
Content Notes: 100 words. The title is from a key (cough) passage in David Blaize of King’s:
The David Never Yet Seen By Friend
Watching David gaze at Daniel da Silva was torture: Frank could feel his throat getting tight, as if his long-suppressed feelings were cutting off his supply of air. He had not seen David infatuated with another person before—David had never looked at him with such yearning, and he looked so beautiful, so alive with whatever da Silva had awakened in him. Frank couldn’t tear his eyes away, but he was choking on jealousy—-he needed to escape—-
A firm hand steered him out to the hall.
“Hard to breathe with your head in a fish-pond, son,” Archie Curtis said.

Content Notes: 100 words. The title is from a key (cough) passage in David Blaize of King’s:
As far as David was aware of his own heart, that heart was his, open to him and beating for him in that sexless surrender which boys make to boys and girls to girls. But there was a chamber thereof which neither he nor even David himself had the key, which was dangling round the unheeding neck of some girl unknown. She with the glance of an eye and the twist of her finger would unlock it, and the David never yet seen by friend, however intimate, would stand on the threshold, and jubilantly take her in, and the door would be shut on the two of them. And David, all the time, hardly suspected that there was that locked chamber in him; he had not, at any rate, the sense of an empty space unaccounted for.
