Valentine slid onto the tram, a little surprised that it was currently occupied only by Mick and a large box. A large box that smelled very, very good.
"What's in the box?" he asked, debating on where to sit.
Mick patted the spot beside him and Valentine happily sat, letting Mick settle an arm around him.
"The ingredients for a nacho party for the study group," Mick explained after a moment. "Not quite sure why I got stuck lugging it around, but I guess it could be worse."
Valentine laughed. Nacho parties and ice cream socials were still the exciting things to do, but they were better than a few of the trends he'd seen. And food did tend to motivate the students... As well as the staff in the vicinity.
"I'll help?" Valentine offered. He'd honestly just been intending to go nap in Megaera, just in case he was needed, but he was also sure Nari would be there and he hadn't seen her in a few days.
"Carry or eat?" Mick questioned.
"Yes." Valentine leaned just a bit as the tram sped through tunnels and past empty platforms.
"Works for me. And remember, cleanup is on the students and if we need anything else..."
"Mmm?"
Mick grinned and pulled Valentine a bit closer.
"We'll go get it."
